Allegro MicroSystems A19351 Giant Magnetoresistance (GMR) AK Protocol Wheel speed/Direction sensor Integrated circuits (ics) are designed to measure ring magnets used in automotive braking systems. The A19351 integrated circuit provides wheel speed and direction information. The fully integrated circuit has a sensing element, a voltage regulator, an AD converter and a digital controller. These components adaptively measure magnetic signals and provide robust, low-jitter AK protocol output through a two-wire interface.

The high-performance A19351 GMR ic features Allegro's SolidSpeed digital architecture, a mixed-signal speed sensor architecture with highly adaptive performance. This structure provides a wide dynamic range of operating air gaps and compensates for temperature drift effects. Flexibility is passed on to the system integrator, enabling looser mechanical constraints through a wide operating air gap.

A19351 comes in 2-pin SIP package (suffix UB), lead-free (Pb), and tinned lead frame. The UB package includes IC and protection capacitors integrated in a single moulded package, as well as an additional moulded lead stabilizer rod for sturdy transport and easy assembly.
