TDK-Lambda introduced the iJA series 35A point-of-load (PoL) non-isolated DC-DC converter with PMBus communication function. The use of digital control enables the converter to provide improved dynamic transient response and system stability, as well as enhanced flexibility and customization capabilities.
The iJA series can accept inputs from 8 to 14VDC, and can provide output voltages from 0.6 to 3.3V with currents up to 35A. The compact converter measures 22.9mm x 12.7mm x 9.7mm and weighs only 6.5g, making it ideal for a variety of applications, including communications, broadcast, industrial, and test and measurement equipment.
The iJA series can operate reliably over a wide temperature range from -40 ° C to + 105 ° C with minimal airflow, as high efficiency levels as high as 94% reduce internal power consumption.
PMBus' read-write function allows accurate, real-time monitoring of output voltage, current and temperature. You can also easily program the operating parameters of iJA using the GUI interface of TDK-Lambda. By using function pins, the converter can be used without PMBus communication.
Safety certifications include IEC / EN 60950-1, UL / CSA 60950-1 (with CE marking for low voltage and RoHS2 directives).
