Alliance Memory has released a new line of 3V multiple input/output serial NOR flash products designed to provide continuity of supply to Micron customers using discontinued N25Q family devices. The series supports single, dual, and quad SPI modes, combining fast read performance of up to 104MHz with fast programming and erasing times of 0.3ms and 40ms typical values.
The solution provides a typical erase/program current of 20mA and a maximum read current of 25mA at 104MHz, with reliable, long-term performance for 100,000 program/erase cycles and 10 years of data retention. Available in 8-pin SOP wide-body (209mil) and 8L WSON (6x5mm) packages, devices function from a 2.7V to 3.6V power supply in the industrial temperature range of -40 ° C to +85 ° C.
The devices support uniform 4KB, 32KB, and 64KB erase functions, provide full packet burst read mode of 8/16/32/64byte, and provide program/erase pause and resume functions. Advanced security features include block protection and 4K bit secure OTP to protect content from malicious access and accidental programming and deletion.
With enhanced performance, serial NOR flash products are designed to meet the needs of the computing, consumer, Internet of Things, communications and mobile markets.
