Sensirion provides a complete set of reliable indoor air quality sensors

Technology Cover
Nach Datum: 2022-11-14, Sensirion AG

As an expert in the field of environmental sensing, Sensirion provides a complete set of reliable indoor air quality sensors. Micro air quality sensors monitor important air pollution, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), particulate matter (PM), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and formaldehyde (H2HO), and provide real-time and complete images of indoor air quality. The sensor can be used in a wide range of applications, such as air quality monitors, air purifiers, ventilation systems and smart home/IoT devices.

The integrated air quality sensor SEN55 integrates five sensors in a compact module, which can measure RH/T, PM, VOCs and NOx. Due to proprietary algorithms, this module can be directly integrated into various applications, allowing equipment manufacturers to save valuable project time and human resources and focus on their core competitiveness.

SEN5x is a unique series of sensor modules that combine the measurement of key air quality parameters - particulate matter, VOC, NOx, humidity and temperature - in a single package. The result of the module Sensirion has rich experience in environmental sensing, and provides the best performance sensing parameters, superior life, and compact form factors of each sensor. The SEN5x sensor fully provides a calibrated output with a digital interface. The combination of all measurement parameters in a single equipment allows air quality equipment manufacturers to reduce the workload of design and integration, shorten development time and simplify their supply chain. Proprietary algorithms can be directly integrated into HVAC and air quality applications to save resources/time and focus on core competencies. The realized temperature sensitive acceleration routine (STAR) engine acceleration equipment can respond to 2-3 times the change of ambient temperature, providing better user experience and more accurate measurement for end users
