ADI's LT8640S-2 step-down mute switch is a synchronous regulator that provides a regulator architecture.
These switches are designed to reduce EMI emissions and provide high efficiency at high switching frequencies. The switch has a peak-current-mode control with a minimum on-time of 30ns to achieve a high step-down ratio at high switching frequencies. These switches also feature ultra-low quiescent current burst mode operation.
