AMC1304 is a new product from Texas Instruments. It is a precision delta-sigma (ΔΣ) modulator with a capacitive double isolation barrier between the output and input circuits. The barrier has a high resistance to electromagnetic interference. This insulation is certified to provide reinforced isolation up to 7000 VPEAK according to DIN V VDE V 0884-10, UL1577 and CSA standards. Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, this device prevents noise currents on high common-mode voltage lines from entering the local system ground and interfering with or damaging low-voltage circuits.
The AMC1304 is available in a wide-body SOIC-16 (DW) package and is rated over the -40C to 125C temperature range.
